Woodland Park is growing. And with a slew of projects in the works, the Teller County community is poised to continue its morph into a thriving mountain town.
A list of possible projects has city officials and others buzzing about a face-lift that appears to be imminent for the town of 7,200 residents about 18 miles west of Colorado Springs that has grown more than 10.5 percent since 2000.
“The complexion of the community is going to change,” said Debbie Miller, the president of the Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce.
